Changes to services from 31st August 2026 03/08/2026
From Monday 30th August 2026 we will be making changes to services 42, 44, 68 and improving service 53 too
Service 42
The weekday 0730 Bedford- Dunstable journey will now operate at 0705. A new journey will be introduced at 0735 operating direct between Bedford and Flitwick Post Office. This journey will operate via the B5120 following customer feedback.
Two journeys a day will divert for Harlington Upper School for students from Westoning. On term time Fridays, an earlier finish bus will operate between Harlington Upper School and Westoning only.
There are no changes to the timetable on Saturdays.
Service 44
The 0630 Flitwick to Bedford journey will now operate at 0625, and run 5 minutes earlier throughout
Service 53
Great news for passengers on Service 53! Our enhanced weekday timetable now provides buses every 30 minutes, making it even easier to travel between Bedford, Kempston and Wootton for work, education, shopping and leisure. One bus an hour will operate direct from Fields Road to Burgoyne Avenue and the other will serve Fields Road South.
Following customer feedback, all services will now start and finish at Fields Road- allowing customers to buy tickets for Bedford from Fields Road.
Service 68
The 0653 Ampthill to Bedford service will now operate 5 minutes earlier and start at 0648.
