Harlington road closure 12/11/2025
Toddington Road, Harlington is closed from 13th November until 18th December to facilitate road repairs and upgrades to kerbing. During this time service service 42 will not be able to serve Harlington.
We will introduce a shuttlebus 42X which will run Flitwick – Westoning – Harlington – Toddington, with connections to or from route 42 at Westoning or Flitwick Interchange for journeys to or from Bedford. Some journeys will connect at Toddington for journeys to or from Dunstable.
Buses are unable to serve bus stops along Toddington Road. Within Harlington buses will enter from Westoning Road, and loop through the village using Goswell End ROad, Barton Road, Church Road and Westoning Road. We will pick up at stops along Westoning Road for travel to Toddington or Flitwick Interchange. Buses will leave from Bay A on service 42X
