Changes to service 190 12/11/2025
From Monday 17th November 2025, service 190 will take a new route between Potton and Biggleswade
Buses will operate direct from Potton to Biggleswade using Biggleswade Road and serve the Kings Reach development to the Bus Station. Sutton village will no longer be served, but buses will continue to call at the nearby Sutton Crossroads bus stops.
Grant Palmer Ltd took over operation of services 189 and 190 in May 2024 and since this date have invested over £500,000 in new vehicles for use on the routes. Modern buses sit considerably lower to the ground than older buses and have significantly more electrical components. It is for this reason we have taken the difficult decision to remove buses from Sutton village- avoiding the need for low floor buses to pass Sutton Ford during high flood water.
Sutton continues to be served by Ivel Sprinter services as well as buses at the nearby crossroads. The new timetable offers the same number of journeys across the day, with a small change to times between Biggleswade and Potton.
