Changes to busway services from 9th August 2026 30/07/2026

From 9th August we will be making improvements to our busway services

Service C

A revised timetable will provide more consistent departure times, with most buses leaving at 42 minutes past each hour from Luton. Buses for Weatherby will continue to operate hourly.

More morning and evening buses between Dunstable and Luton, giving customers greater flexibility for work, leisure and shopping.

On schooldays, a return journey will operate from Caddington to Manshead Academy before continuing into Luton town centre via the Busway, giving customers an extra morning journey into Luton.

Service CX

An enhanced morning timetable will operate with more journeys at key times.

During the daytime, poorly used journeys are withdrawn. Customers for White Lion and Amazon can use our nearby services from the White Lion busway stop.

Evening journeys will now operate as service C, not service CXs following changes to shift patterns. New weekday evening journeys on service C will continue to meet 10pm shift changes.

Service Hi

Buses to Dunstable Town Centre on service Hi will now operate a revised route. From Dunstable ASDA, journeys to Thorn will now use High Street North and the B5120 to Morrisons. Return journeys will operate from Thorn via B5120, High Street North, Dunstable Church Street, Kingsway and the White Lion busway stop. These changes are designed to provide easier access to shopping and improved connections for All Saints Academy.

There are changes to the timetable to improve reliability.

Service Jo

An enhanced morning timetable means even more buses, making it easier to get to work.

During the daytime three buses every hour will now operate:

One bus every hour to Linmere- Box Crescent and Waterslade Way.

Two buses every hour to LIDL RDC via Parkside Drive

One journey each hour will also serve Wilkes Drive, providing new public transport links for the latest development opposite LIDL RDC once the road opens.

All journeys will now operate via Tithe Farm Road, not Sundon Road- simplifying the route and improving connections.

On Sundays, Jo journeys will now operate to Linmere, Waterslade Way, no longer serving the LIDL RDC.
