Changes to bus services from 1st September 2025 05/08/2025
From Monday 1st September 2025 we're delighted to announce a series of improvements to our bus services
Service 34
Working in partnership with Milton Keynes Council we will be introducing additional journeys: 06:09 from Flitwick, 07:00 from Milton Keynes and a new later journey at 1828 from Ampthill Heights and 19:30 from Milton Keynes. In addition we've retimed our first journeys to run earlier to better meet shift changes at Magna Park.

Service 42
Working with Central Bedfordshire Council we're improving our popular 42 service. During the day most buses will extend to Dunstable and Houghton Regis from Toddington, giving a new hourly link to Bedford. Buses will now serve Dunstable ASDA- ideal for transferring on to a busway service to Luton or for the L&D Hospital. We've listened to feedback for later journeys to Bedford and an earlier journey to Flitwick. A new journey at 07:30 will be introduced from Bedford- ideal for school travel to Flitwick, or commuting to work. A later journey to Bedford is introduced at 17:15 from Flitwick.
Service 44
There are minor changes to early morning journeys to keep buses on time

Service 73
A new journey at 06:40 from Biggleswade, Hospital is introduced extending to Sandy at 07:23 from the Market Place and arriving in Bedford at 08:08. This new journey provides an earlier service on the "Biggleswade town route" as well as adding additional morning capacity between Biggleswade, Sandy and Bedford. There are no other changes to the timetable.

Service C
Following customer requests we will be introducing a later bus between Luton and Dunstable Town Centre. This journey will not serve Weatherby, but will provide a quick link to Dunstable from Luton

Service CX
Following changes to shift changes at key employers at the White Lion Retail Park we will be introducing a new later journey on service CX.

Service Z1
Following requests from local people we will be introducing new bus service between Marston Moretaine and Flitwick. The Z1 service will provide a service on Saturdays, funded through Central Bedfordshire's BSIP scheme.
