From 16th May 2022, the 17:50 Flitwick to Silsoe journey will now operate 15 minutes earlier throughout the journey. This will allow through customers from Bedford a quicker journey home and avoid buses waiting unnecessarily in the evening in Flitwick. There are no other changes to the timetable at this time.
Affected Services:
We are currently seeing a number of short notice service cancellations across our network. This is due to staff sickness and the national shortage of bus drivers as we emerge from COVID-19.
Full service updates can be found on our twitter page @GPLUpdate and our live bus tracker allows you to see where your bus is. We’re currently experiencing high levels of demand and our phone lines are extremely busy, with calls taking longer than usual to answer. If your enquiry is non-urgent, we recommend calling back at another time or sending us an email using our enquiry forms in our help area. Our FAQs section has answers to our most commonly asked questions. Please bear with us and accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by longer waiting times.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Central Bedfordshire Council has agreed to proceed with pedestrianising the High Street in Leighton Buzzard and making Lake Street one-way only for traffic from Saturday 20 June 2020.
This is a temporary arrangement designed to support the high street businesses re-opening and the return of the market to the High Street following the easing of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions. Closing the High Street to traffic will enable people to use all of the space available safely to aid social distancing.
Although this is a temporary change to the area, there is no end date established as this will depend on the national health crisis and government guidance.
Service 36C will transfer from the High Street to West Street. Central Bedfordshire Council are upgrading the stops at West Street with benches, raised platforms for easy access and real time information.
Service 29 is currently unavailable. We hope to resume operation in the near future, please check back for further information.
