Saxon Street - Milton Keynes

Due to the closure of Saxon Street in Milton Keynes. The 34 service will be diverting through Chaffron Way, Marlborough Street and Child's Way.

Bedford Road - Houghton Regis

Bedford Road in Houghton Regis has been closed for roadworks. Services Hi and the 42 will be on diversion during this time.

The Hi service will be diverting after Townsend Farm Road down Houghton Road and Watling Street, then will turn into Thorn Turn to serve Thorn Road.

The 42 service will be diverting up Watling Street and use the M1 Bypass to Toddington.

Both services are unable to serve Houghton Regis Morrisons and Bedford Road during this time. Customers who use the Hi service are recommended to use the Jo service to get to the Morrisons.

Harrold Bridge and Carlton

Harrold Bridge is closed from the times 09.15am to 03.15pm until the 15th of April.

Stops in Harrold are unable to be served during this time.

Sunderland Road closure, Sandy

Sunderland Road, Sandy will be closed due to Cadent gas works. During this time services 72 and 73 will divert: 

From Bedford

Buses will take normal line of route from the A603, before joining the A1 northbound, taking the Georgetown Road slip Road to Sunderland Road to serve the bus stop at the Co-op. Buses will resume normal line of route from this point. 

From Sandy Market Square

Buses will take normal line of route from the High Street but will use Bedford Road, before joining the A1 northbound, taking the Georgetown Road slip Road to Sunderland Road to serve the bus stop at the Co-op. Buses will resume normal line of route from this point.

Biddenham Turn closure

Due to cadent gas works Biddenham Turn will be closed. Services 41 and S1 will operate via the A4280. Customers are advised to use the temporary stops along the A4280.

Temporary Traffic Lights - Toddington & Harlington

The 42 service and morning services running between the depot to Luton and Dunstable may see delays due to two sets of temporary traffic lights between Toddington and Harlington.
